Christmas Menu 2014

Available between 1st - 23rd December

 


Price is £19.50 per head for 3 courses followed by coffee and brownies.
 
Starters

Melon and parma ham cocktail, basil sorbet

 

Curried parsnip and apple soup.

 

Smoked Salmon neva salad, honey mustard dressing.

 

Chicken liver parfait, toasted brioche, red onion marmalade.


Salad of goats cheese, chestnuts, cranberries with sauce vierge.

Mains
  
Roast Turkey with chipolata roll, sage and chestnut stuffing.

 

Braised feather blade of beef in rich red wine onion gravy and herb dumpling.

 

Baked salmon, gremolata crust, lemon, feta and parsley butter sauce.

 

Pan seared wild mushroom risotto, celeriac and truffle puree, pimento sauce.

Desserts

 



Christmas pudding with rum sauce

 

Trio of ice creams with contrasting sauces and peanut brittle.

 

Rich chocolate pot, shortbread biscuits.

 

Forest berries trifle.

 

Vintage cheddar on toast with worcester sauce, dried fruit chutney
